Can The First Blog Post Be Anything?
My first blog post was a total disaster…
I mean love that I published my first ever blog post online but it was not the best I could do at that time.
First of all, I was scared a lot that it took me 15 days after setting up my blog to publish my first blog post.
It is How To Make Easy Money Online.
Here is the link if you want to have a look at it. It’s not the same version, I keep updating my old posts (It’ is very good for SEO).
The problem was I didn’t do any research, saw an article on the internet and wrote a similar post, and published it. Because it was already 15 days and I hadn’t done anything.
I realized my mistake later and I had to shift my blog niche.
Therefore, you must always keep in mind your TARGET AUDIENCE and BLOG NICHE while deciding your blog posts.
- Google prefers sites that stay on one niche. Therefore you just can’t write on anything that came to your mind unless it’s your hobby blog.
- If your blog post solves the problem of your target audience it will get more engagement naturally.
So no, don’t take my first blog post as one of the best first blog post examples.
I’m not saying this to scare you. All I want you to be a little serious about the topic on which you are going to write about.
A blog niche is one or a maximum of two topics on which you will be publishing content on your blog.
For example, I publish blogging and money-making tips on this blog. So these 2 are my niche. And I have recently started publishing some Pinterest tips.
Google likes sites that stay on topic.
I talk about a blog niche in more detail in this blog post. So, if you haven’t it is time you figure out your blog niche.
A bit of research and you are done.

Here are some of my best tips in a form of questions & answers to write good content.
1- How to start a blog post?
Ans. The best way to start a question is to address the problem in the first sentence. The opening of a blog post should be about the problem itself.
2- How to write an introduction?
Ans. An introduction is about the problem and the solution. The correct way to write your introduction is to address the problem and then tell your readers how you will solve it for them.
3- Should you introduce yourself?
Ans. As this is going to be your first blog post it is logical to think so but if you don’t want to then you don’t have to. Just write at the beginning or end that this was your first post and include a link to your about page.
4- Do I need to write in a stylish language?
Ans. No, your English should be as basic as possible to make it easy to read to many people. You don’t want your readers to go away.
Follow these tips and complete your first draft. You can also follow this guide where I explain how to write viral blog posts.
STEP 5 – Proofread Your Post.
After writing the first draft you must proofread it to avoid looking foolish in front of your readers.
You can do this easily with Grammarly. It is a grammar checker tool that will quickly find out the common errors and gives you suggestions to fix them.
I use Grammarly to proofread all of my blog posts.
